Feedback and bug reports

ZasCue is built by one person and it's free. There's no support team behind it — but I read everything, and most of what the program can do today came from someone telling me what was missing or what broke on them during a rehearsal.

Something is broken A bug, something cutting out, or not doing what it should. I have an idea Something that would make your rehearsals or your show easier. I have a question You're not sure how to do something, or whether ZasCue fits your show.

For a bug, this helps enormously

You don't need to be technical. If you tell me this, I can usually track it down:

What happened and what you expected instead.
What you were doing just before (e.g. "I hit GO on a cue with a fade").
The version: it's at the very top, next to "ZasCue" (something like v1.22.3).
Whether you use the .exe or the browser version.
A screenshot if you can. Worth its weight in gold.

What happens next

I reply personally, not a bot. If it's a bug that breaks a show, it goes straight to the top of the list. If it's an idea, it joins the to-do list — and plenty of them end up in the program. You can see what changed in each version inside ZasCue itself.

An honest heads-up: I'm one person, so a reply can take a few days. If you have a show coming up and something isn't working, say so in the subject line ("urgent, show on Saturday") and I'll bump it.
